To Declare a Major/Minor:

  1. Review the above document for prerequisites to declare the major/minor and the requirements to earn the degree
  2. Select a concentration (if majoring) and create a tentative list of proposed courses that will earn the degree
  3. Contact the appropriate major declaration advisor below (according to your last name) to review your plan
  1. After the discussion with the advisor, send the declaration advisor a major (or minor) declaration form for official approval, prefilled with the courses you discussed at your meeting. Once admitted to the major/minor, you will be assigned to a new advisor in the department for ongoing advising during course registration periods etc.
