How do I compute my MATH GPA? To compute the MATH GPA, use the nine MATH courses that SIS shows were required for the major.

Can students in the 5 year BA/MT program participate in their 4th-year graduation? Yes, complete the Participation in Final Exercises by BA Form.

How many courses must have a MATH prefix? At least 6 courses counted as major requirements must have a MATH prefix.

Can APMA courses be used toward the math major? The following APMA substitutions are allowed: APMA 2130 for MATH 3250, APMA 3080 for MATH 3351, APMA 3100 for MATH 3100, and APMA 3120 for STAT 3120. However, APMA courses do not count toward the 6-course MATH prefix minimum.

Can I double count some courses? Yes. The current policy is given in the Undergraduate Record: “Up to two courses that are being counted for another College major can also be counted for the major in mathematics.
