"Stochastic differential equations and statistical physics

This talk will be an introduction to equilibrium and non-
equilibrium statistical mechanics. For the latter, we consider
a class of examples first investigated by Eckmann, Pillet and
Rey-Bellet. We will see how a chain of non-linear oscillators interacting with
baths leads to a system of coupled stochastic differential equations.
